I see that among other things we have in common Magdalena, we both share a distaste for cold 🥶

I loved this! My family are poor people and sadly I used to be ashamed of them.

I started really tracing where I come from and now am very proud of those poor farmers. Thank you for sharing.

I loved reading your beautifully written piece honoring your mother. My partner is from Poland, Strakow, and his mother held a strong, silent, almost all knowing presence that I loved about her. Even though we couldn’t speak to each other, the love was there. I am enjoying reading your insights and descriptions ! You mother sounds like an amazing woman! And the genes have been passed on…Thank you!

The story your mother wove into you is beautiful strength. The work you are doing remembering, writing, and reweaving the stories you inherited is important. Thank you for sharing and reminding us what really matters in life. These are wonderful words. Keep telling the stories!
