Beautifully expressed.

This also brings to mind a verse from the Bible about God holding the bridle, guiding with intention rather than force. In the same way, we must hold the bridle to AI. It’s a mirror, not a master. A tool for reflection, not judgment. After all, we are what we think.

Yes! I think it’s in James talking about the power of our tongues to do good or bad right? Great comparison!

This is exactly what your article so beautifully expresses. The moment I read your analogy of the chisel and the craftsman’s rule “Never let the tool think for you”, Psalm 32:9 immediately came to mind.

It’s not about the power of the tongue; it’s about how God holds the bridle in our lives. He knows when to run, stop, or steer us.

In the same way, we must hold the bridle when it comes to AI. Don’t let it dictate or steer you. You are the master, AI is the tool. The bridle of AI is in your hands. Steer with intention.

Such a helpful guideline for creators who employ AI in their writing. Thanks for putting into words some of the concerns many of us have.
