I love the headline of your article, Magdalena. In just nine words, you’ve perfectly encapsulated the essence of your piece. I’ve long believed that writing has been my lifeline during difficult times. It’s become such a powerful tool for me that whenever I face a dilemma, I instinctively reach for a pen and paper. As I write, solutions often reveal themselves. I start by describing the problem, and—believe it or not—the act of writing brings a clarity that eludes me otherwise. Thank you for this detailed post; it beautifully reinforces and solidifies my beliefs.
Magdalena, you continue to inspire me! I have more full notebooks and journals than I'd like to admit, however the process of putting it to pen has always been my onboard therapy.
Here's my challenge -- holding onto the notebooks. There's a part of me that says, "Yes, but if I dispose of them, I might need .."
I've practiced letting go throughout my life, and it's time I'm more open to that... So, I hear you... Write about it 😂
Thank you for your kind words! Greatly appreciate you! And Hell "YES" write about the "new" you that holds or not (lol) to the notebooks and what it feels like, what it taste like, what it smells like - engage all the senses!
By the way, M, this newsletter of yours is one of the best I've read, ever! Great articles keep your attention. They gve you details that you agree with that prompt, "Yes, that's true. I know that, too!"
And the best articles feel like you could have written them.
WOW! I’m blown away, and I’m printing your comment and framing it! Thank you so much for your acknowledgment! I deeply appreciate it and you made my weekend!
Love the writing toolkit! When I first start to write, it is like clogged pipes are clearing out in my head. In a few mins, dirty water comes out.
Give it another 5 or 10 and clean water flows. After 30? It’s a bubbling fountain.
I love, love this analogy! So very true!

Thank you so much! It’s so great to hear that you leverage writing as a tool, and that’s serving you so well!
It’s all about finding solutions, even with our writing. 👏🏼
