Curious about the body. When does listening to the body enter in?

Magdalena Ponurska's avatar

This is such a great question! I listen to my body when I write ✍️

My blind spot is the seeing … I love the seeing step - makes me feel powerful - yeah insight - but this mini thrill -floating on insight - stops me from taking the action step.

That’s such an observation! Thank you so much for sharing!

Powerful insight and guidance. Thank you for sharing. I've been looking at the ways I am stuck in my art and other parts of my life. This was very helpful. the "who are you when you aren't living that pattern" is such an impactful question.

Dear Heather: I'm so happy that it resonated with you! Cheering you on with your work! and if you want to go deeper try to the 20 min exercise: https://couragetocreate.io/

This article is incredibly revealing to me. I’ve been reading your work and practising future scripting twice per week. Today’s info offers so much more potential for me with the future scripting process. I feel inspired to overcome some loops I have been in for perhaps my whole adult life, that I even have clear awareness of, and not been able to overcome them. Ie. Imagining being super healthy and fit, having such clear and attainable goals set, and then getting that carb hit moments later… Ie. wanting to inject more lightheartedness into my day, yet not finding the time/means/ability to switch gears to do so. I can have such clarity and confidence in how to handle ongoing challenges…and then whoops years go by and I still have that particular rut. Meditation and healthy modalities have helped immensely, yet your approach here offers hope for even my most deeply ingrained patterns, and pathways to find solutions and freedom in my brain and heart from them. Sending you so much gratitude! ❤️

Dear Erica: thank you so much for your open, and authentic share. It takes a lot of courage to dig deep and have these discovery moments, so huge shoutout to you for being so brave! I'm so happy that my work resonates with you and that it's making a difference for you and in your life! Keep going. Cheering you on, M!

You are most welcome, Magdalena, and appreciate your support of my keeping going on my journey.❤️ These days my courage is coming more easily, and blessings have followed as well. Your boldness to share what comes from within inspires me!

Very interesting, Magdalena. I haven't been following the blind spot, but the things you say, especially at the end of this post, reflect very similarly with the things I have been writing about in stuck identities, setting boundaries, sitting in that space between what was or what I was and the not-yet-becoming person. I love how you and Maria came to these realizations. But, like so many of life's challenges, much easier to understand than to make happen in our own lives. Thanks for a great post. Blue💙

I love love that we can collaborate and support each other and the greater community! So grateful for you ❤️❤️❤️

Dear Karen; I love the point that you surface: much easier to understand but so much harder to implement!!! 💯 agree. Knowing makes no difference. This is where the ACT on it steps in. Tiny actions. That move us forward!

Again, Magdalena, we’re on the same podium — just different ways of saying the same thing and it’s important that people hear things differently. What resonates with one reader won’t with another…yah you know all this. Blue💙

“When the Acting Mind runs alone, you get motion without direction. Entire seasons of building systems, answering every message, showing up for everyone, without ever stopping to ask whether you’re running toward something meaningful or away from something you don’t want to feel.” This is super-insightful, and a dynamic I have experienced in myself and observed in others. I have taught a similar 3-part framework (using F-R-E-E-Writing) for many years but lots of aha moments in this article for me. 🙏 Thank you Magdelena

I love this so much - I can relate. The word "loop" has been in my awareness for a few months now and I really appreciate the journaling prompts here. Thank you!
