Loving these posts explaining this technique. Just so I understand--repeat daily on the same problem you're trying to solve or identity you want to achieve?

Dear Judith: I'm so happy it resonates with you! Thank you for your question: repeat as often as you feel you need it to solve the challange/problem so you can become the new identity! I do hope you give a go and share with the community! Cheering you on, M!

Magdalena, I'm thrilled to see this in print!

"And here’s the interesting part: you don’t have to believe this works. Skeptics actually get better results. No performance anxiety. No “trying to believe hard enough.” Just write. The identity follows."

Without stepping into the woo, this is the elegance of manifestation. True, viable, in pure form.

A software programer told me, "Your MindShifting process is an evidenced-based technology that works. You don't have to believe it works, just do it."

And so it is. Amen.

Do you consider writing by hand into a notebook or does the digital version (handwriting on iPad or on the computer) have the same effect?

Dear Mrs. Phayu: This is a great question! I personally recommend writing my hand (it helps with rewiring) and then some people take photo of the writing and transfer to digital notes.

“You become the person by taking the actions that person would take.”

Absolutely — it applies to every aspect of life.

Instead of saying, “When I lose weight, I’ll join a running club,”

ask yourself, “What does a runner do on a Saturday morning?”

Maybe they wake up early, lace up their shoes while everyone’s still asleep, and go.

Or like a writer, whenever a thought pops into their mind, they record it — they write it down.

Because in the end, it’s the doing that shapes the being

Thanks for your comment. I'm on day 4 of your practice. I've used future-state journaling in the past with a much looser framework. I really like the boundaries on yours.

My experience so far has been amazing. Admittedly, my brain is like "20 minutes? How about I do 10 and call it a day?"

Then I read this post 😂

After just ONE day, things I wrote about showed up that stopped me in my tracks. And a couple of themes keep circling around.

This go-around with future-state journaling, I'm documenting everything and taking quick action. Instead of simply noticing, "Oh, that's cool," I'm moving on the synchronicities surfacing.
